I am a 10+ year member of the Morton Arboretum. It is my peaceful place. I try to go there to bike at least once a week and in the winter to cross-country ski when there is snow.
I have a love story of two trees that I would like to share.
This cottonwood tree was planted on Arbor Day in 1969 or 1970. We got it as a gift from our school (Holmes Elementary in Warrenville).
